I was born and brought up in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and have owned cockers for about 25 years.
As a child we always had horses and dogs of some sort in the family. However, due to family/work commitments it is only in the last ten years that I've been able to concentrate my efforts into breeding/showing cockers.

My kennel name "QuilMhair" (pronounced Keelvar) is taken from the first two cockers I owned ... Tequila was a blue roan of Lochrannoch/Leabank lines and Mhairi, a red from Helenwood/Lochranza lines. I am presently building up my solid line of cockers going back on some of the very old names and hope to continue to produce merry, cobby cockers of sound temperament. To date two of my girls have gained their British KC Stud Book numbers - Pibroch (QuilMhair MacFie) and her daughter, Brogan (QuilMhair Auchtermuchty). The picture below shows Brogan and myself taken at The Cocker Club Championship Show at Malvern in July last year where she gained 2 firsts and a second in her classes under Miss G Williams.

I feel honoured to be invited to judge in Sweden and look forward to going over a quality entry.
